I came into the cold, cold world today
Found there really wasnít need to stay
Maybe if dream hard enough, itíll all just go away
My whole world is a sabotaged mess of lies

So I bid goodnight to everything
No more protest songs to sing
This white dove has a broken wing
Weíre poets without ink to scream

The leader demands that he be followed
But see all the young souls he has swallowed
In too many pits, for him weíve wallowed
Itís time to take a stand, if we can make some legs

A pig shit geyser rises into the sky
Look at that porcine feces fly!
The smell of it makes grown men cry
Talk about your bricks in the wall

Through the olive grove, the Panzers tore
Good little Johnnies off to fight the war
And eagles fly off to that distant shore
To be picked apart by vultures not their own

Of course there is a ray of light
The leader says lifeíll be all right
As long as we have foes to fight
But you have to dig real deep to catch that part

I float disillusioned in a stream
The inky water catches a stray sunbeam
I wish all Iíve seen were a dream
Itís all very hopeless, or so life would seemÖ
