The Rope

You canít push a rope
It cannot be done
Why it defies the laws
Of physics
Itís a battle that canít
Be won.

But each day people try
They push and push
Without refrain,
This rope thing isnít going
To workÖ
I have it, letís try
The chain.

Itís one of lifeís little
Out of ideas but not
Out of hope,
Desperate for resolution
They try and push the rope.

When you are faced with
And troubleís plate is full,
All around you is chaos
And calamity,
Remember this little
Verse and pull.
