Ok, this is a preliminary book review by I&I. I wanted to give my reasoning for purchasing this book in the first place. When I would look up information about Ernesto (Che) Geuvera I would get one of two things. One, American propaganda, or Communist propaganda. I wanted a simple biography, and I could never find one! I thought it was frickin amazing, so I found a book that is acclaimed by nearly everyone in the literary world. I wanted a biography that involved the facts about his life and the things he did. Until I watched the movie "Motorcycle Diaries" and began reading this book, Che was simply an icon. A picture of a handsome guerilla looking dude on a shirt that kids (who don't know shit about shit) wear to signify they are rebellious. I wondered about the man that could cause soooo much differing propaganda. Before you comment with the usual (He was a fuckin murdering commie bastard END OF BIOGRAPHY.) bear in mind that I posses a plaque that my parent's had on their walls as I grew up. It's the only possesion I want from my parents and it goes a lil sumthin like this:
"Hear one side and you will be in the dark,
Hear both sides and all will be clear."
I'll write a full review when I'm done, thus far it signifies meticulous research to me.
