Drug Of Choice

my peaceful interlude
doesn't come from a qualude
nor any other drug
but from a simple hug
which in itself can be addicting
when it's you that's inflicting
that sweet gentle embrace
bringing a smile upon my face....

Bob Shank-Sept. 17th, 2005
Tomorrow is promised to no one,
therefore, hug someone you love

"If I told you my reality, you'd
say I have a great imagination,
If I told you my imagination, you'd
say I've lost touch with reality"-Bob Shank, 2004

Very Nice
Enjoyed this. But isn't qualude spelled quaalude. I could be mistaken, nevertheless, I liked the poem.

Huggy Bear
Bob, I'm a hugger...big can never overdose on them and they make people feel good...and that someone cares...sometimes words won't come but a hug can show people how you feel...I love this poem...Kacee

A hug a day keeps depression away!
Oh Bob...I loved this!

Just imagine if we hugged our enemies instead of shooting them!

Hugged our children more, instead of screaming at them!

Hugged our spouses instead of quarreling!

Hugged strangers in trouble instead of turning away!

And here's a great big hug for you for writing this!!!
