You are a little red bug
That climbs up the bedpost of my dreams
And gives birth to nightmares
On the doorstep of my waking world
Your daughters are she-monsters of heart-ache
Your sons the destroyers of my hope
I long to squash your little red guts
But you are so insignificantly small
That you find shelter among the grooves of my shoe
And irritate me yet

Seems to have a dual meaning. Does it?

Nifty in any case! Glad to be reading your work again, as I've always enjoyed it.

Under the psychic microscope
I think this is one of your best poems. It has both rage and a sense of Buddhist detachment.

Though I haven't been around lately, I think of you.

I confused you with another member of lit that has a similar screen name, therefore the last sentence of my comment which must have confused you. Sorry.

I still like your poem which I think is the first of yours I've read.
