Alone in a crowd
It's a unique situation
Yet ignored
His was a shoulder to cry on
But where was his support?
Friends were around
Though the feeling remained
All he wanted
Was someone to listen
Someone that understood
An acceptance of the confusion
Of new feelings and pain
One that could see past his mask
View his heart past the wall
The one
That took so long to build
Yet alone

Where was his shoulder?

Believe in yourself, for you are your best encouragement.

we always look to find the strength in others for our own safety and security, but what about them, and what about us, do we offer the same, and where do the strong get their compassion and strength from?, very thought provoking piece, you really put your "shoulder" into this....peace
