Murders, rape, torture, abuse, it all happens to individuals, whatever the scale.
Where is hell? Where is heaven? Why do so many people believe these are places we go to when we die?
Lead a good life.. you go to Heaven?
Lead a bad life you go to Hell?
Might I dare suggest:
Lead a good life you MAKE Heaven!
Lead a bad life you MAKE Hell!
But it's not as easy as that, is it? Being good doesn't exclude you from the hell brought on by natural disasters, illness or others.
I know the answer, pretend everything is for a purpose and accept it, turn the other cheek, thank God he stole my daughter, and allowed my disabled child to live a reasonaly happy life.
Well you've got this far, and for somebody who usually says you can find happiness and have fun anyhow I guess a few are wondering where this is leading to. Have I decided to take up 'religion bashing' to excse the fact I can find no answers?
Truth is, it isn't going anywhere, I don't think a lot will change or has changed. It just makes me realise when I think things are at their worst, others are worse off than me!
Heaven and Hell are both on earth and in the afterlife, I know, I've got the teeshirt! Treasure every moment, live for the present... it will always be the present and things won't change a lot when you're dead. And yes, it is all in the mind (or soul or whatever you wish to call it).

The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.
