Their words
Incesant blather
Without saying a thing
Their actions
Empty and hollow
Without accomplishing anything

What is the allure of this crowd?
What power resides within them?
I just don't understand
When people have
More than one face
And a variety of masks
How can you tell what's real?

There's nothing substancial
Or worth repeating
There's nothing earthshattering
Or worth trying again
The thrill of the moment
That's all there is to be had

So let them enjoy it
While it still lasts
Because tomorrow
It's gone

Believe in yourself, for you are your best encouragement.

Yes, that is true, but also that all that is gone is replaced. All that is pain is forgoten. All that is joy as well. If life did not forget, then life itself would be forgoten.
