Ever notice
Those ironic situations
We are manage to find ourselves in?
Like inspiration hits
But you can't find paper
And then when you finally
Find your stupid notebook
You can remember what you wanted to write
So you keep a notebook
AND a pencil with you at all times
So when inspiration hits
You'll be ready
Inspiration hits again
So you grab your notebook
Rip it open to a blank page
Grab your pencil
And realize you're out of lead
But instead you grab your pen
The one you had 'just in case'
And you're out of ink
So next time inspiration hits
Forget the pen and paper
Just shout it to the world
'cause if you do finally write it down
Chances are you'll just spill something on it anyway
