Lover's Ride

Floating upon cascading waters
is a human canoe intent on love
little ripples pass by with laughter
scented breezes, what dreams are made of

blowing softly from state to state
across many mountains and plains
settling tenderly upon your lips
removing the shackles of pain

for I am the key, your medicine man
delivered to cast out all spells
calling upon me, in your prayers
trinkets thrown in wishing wells

splashes make waves
as shallop vessels depart
the bigger the splash
the sooner I get to your heart.....

Make waves
I have to say "ditto" to Kacee's comment. You sure know how to make big waves with your words.
