If the very thought of you
Makes my heart skip a beat,
What will it be like for me?
If we, were actually to meet.

Could I keep my composure?
And act off hand and cool,
Or would I stammer
Like a child in primary school.

Would I sweetly kiss you?
Or merely shake your hand,
Will I speak incoherently?
And will you understand.

At night I am sleepless
Thinking of what will be,
When we finally meet each other
For it means so much to me.

Then I simply close my eyes
And I know all will be fine,
When I look into your eyes
And you see yourself in mine.

how romantic and sweet, the anxieties of pre-introductions, we always question what it will be like, when in fact we are really questioning ourselves, our fears, our hopes and dreams, love how you ended this on such an optimistic not....Good luck...nice piece.....peace
