this is a love poem...yes. weird for me. no...it's not a break up poem, or an unrequited love poem. it's a love poem. i don't know if this will ever happen again, so read. lol. oh...and review, cause i like to hear what everyone thinks.

"A Thousand Words" (title subject to change)

a moment with you
is worth a thousand words
you would never be able give me
a moment with you
kills me sometimes
but makes me fall in love the feeling
i could float above anything
right here right now
everything feels okay
everything is safe and sound
i'm living for the moment
when you say
you're finally happy
i'm living for the moment
when you say
your dream in life
is finally happening
you've given me everything
and once more
my heart's in my hand
and my fingers are shaking
trying to let go
i don't know if i can
i could float above anything
right here right now
everything feels okay
everything is safe and sound

hm
are you talking about the "right here right now" part? cause if so, it should have been "right here, right now". i hate punctuation. it always gets me :oP sorry if it was confusing. thanks for commenting, i luv you!

thank you!
yeah, you're right. it's supposed to have a "to" added in there. when i type up stuff, it's all a jumbled mess in my mind. thanks :) and i will check out the punctuation stuff, because i'm starting to think it would be nice to have some other type of order to my poetry. anywho, thanks alot! laytor

response to 'a thousand words' 2002
Fine poem even for the lack of depth and breadth. Something missing or something lacking...I wanted the poem to continue on, and on... wanted to know what mirrors the parts of my own life, somewhat similar...
