Like the seeds dormant 'neath blankets of snow,
Truths and destinies too lie patient awaiting time’s tide,
As spring’s wet welcome kiss ignites the grains of life,
So too does time’s cycle illuminate our destiny,
As it should be,
Not how it is amidst a conspiracy,
But clear truth aflame for all to see,
Risen to the surface of our understanding after eons in the dark,
'Neath blankets of black and white lies where unseen it was fertilised,
By the manure of the lies, and the tears of the wise.

Like the strength contained within the seed,
Truth's potential too is not visible to the naked eye,
But when freed from the confines of the lies,
Truth bursts forth in a flurry,
A positive big bang that defies the size of the truth itself,
As if in the freeing, fleeing from confines,
It joins up with all the other hidden maybes to define the time,
Honour itself in a glorious revelation,
Not the darkness of perceived revelation but the light, the lifting, the enlightenment,
Of truth revelation that sets us free from the barbarity of all that has come to be.

Like the seed that has few needs, just light and wet and warmth,
Truth simply needs time, acceptance and a voice,
The voice is found in the smallest cry, a mother’s sobbing or a soldier’s goodbye,
Dampened by Cindy’s tears, this week in Crawford was harvest time,
As little by little the voices have joined from a whisper to a whimper to a cry,
For truth to be finally released from government’s holding cells,
For answers to questions too long been withheld,
To flee from the lips of the leaders for justice to be done and free us,
From this idiocy of war for this unsettling, settling of scores,
One little answer for a mother who asks why,
“For what noble cause did my child die?”

Cindy's Noble cause
I watched the news yesterday, and watched as "the soldier's" mom cried. Regardless of what peoples opinions are on this war, I don't see how anybody can ignore or make light of her hurt. I can't even imagine what mothers, sisters, wives, husbands, brothers etc... are feeling. I am only a spectator and my heart bleeds for all of these lives.

Namaste.

Cindy's Noble Cause
Tina,

I really enjoyed reading this and admire your innovative nature metaphors. My favorite passage is the first:

"Like the seeds dormant 'neath blankets of snow,
Truths and destinies too lie patient awaiting time’s tide,
As spring’s wet welcome kiss ignites the grains of life,
So too does time’s cycle illuminate our destiny,"

I'm all right these days and I very much hope you are. Thanks for your friendship and support over the years.

namaste,

Sean

Right on Tina & Cindy!
Tina...as usual you zoned in on what the world is thnking and feeling... shining the spotlight of truth on what the powers that be are desperately trying conceal. More power to you and Cindy!!

This strikes close to home, as a cousin of mine lost her son in the first weeks of the War in Iraq. However, she comforts herself believing that he died for a cause. He was a proud Marine, eager to serve his country, in the belief that "he was liberating a dehumanized society from a madman, and that once liberated, would form a democracy and all would be free to follow their own religion, and live their lives in complete harmony."

This was the noble cause that we were fighting for according to what we were told. I really wonder, now that all this time has passed and we still have not (nor in my opinion ever will) achieved this goal, and given the number of lives lost on both sides and the fact that they do not want us there...would he have so readily given his life and loyalty to this cause?

I think not!
