No desert vastness is too great
With scorching heat of day
And frigid cold of night.

Nothing short of fate
Could cause me to stray
Or deter my dogged flight.

No mountain is too rugged
Or high
Nor waterway too wide and deep.

If you have reason to
Utter a cry
Or if you have cause to weep.

If you should trip and fall
Nothing can stop me
Should you call.

Thank-You
Thanks so much for noticing the way I put this together. You catch just about everything I throw out and understand what I did also the why to boot. The part where you say "I love this" is very nice too.

Lover's Vow
I read this and read it again. Reminds me of the Diana Ross song, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".

Truly love how you captured all the elements in your own words. And as Lucie said it IS the UNSPOKEN that carries this short and full bodied poem out to your readers.

Nice to read this morning.
Thanks for sharing

Romay's vow's
I tell you again what a lucky girl Char is! What a beautiful piece of poetry Romay. Leaves a girl feeling safe and loved. What more can she ask for?

Dar and Nae
Thanks so much ladies. Positive comments coming from the both of you on a poem about love is especially nice, as you have perfected writing on the subject. I feel very flattered in view of that. I suppose because it was also about commitment enabled me somewhat, but it was not an easy poem for me.
