Robotic Screen Savior

Silicone spike through aluminum wrist
Hand like a claw with a balled up fist
Cries like a baby, leaking oil
Black muddy rivulets, staining the soil

Donít be so bold
When youíre on display
Youíll do as youíre told
And hide your dismay

Not built to last, just a sad little machine
Hanging around to wipe the slate clean
Metal face frowns and looks to the ground
At all the new faces and friends itís found

Don't frown,
As your clock winds down
Itís hard to be ecstatic
When youíve seen your own schematic

Alex, The boy full of ideas
