She walks with grace and astounding beauty
Her back upright and strong
Her wisdom shines through her young eyes
Her brilliance through her loving song.

Shes been through hell and back again
One would never see it in plain sight
Shes exchanged her trials for beauty
And her pain for serenity and might.

She deals with people through truth and patience
She knows were not the same
Shes watched the err of human ways
And, in truth, wants us to change.

Shes always so very patient with me
Though I have little to none at all
She points out the things I refuse to see
And counsels me every time I fall.

She always takes time to calm me
When Im pissed to the nth degree
And listens to me gripe and moan
Always seeing what I cannot foresee.

I wish I could remove her unseen pain
And destroy the things she wont allow me to see
This Beauty, This Gem, This Honorable Black Woman
My Big Sister whos younger than me.

"Keep your gloves up!"
