I remember watching Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
The butter would not churn
Thinking of your forthright touch
The Earth refused to spin

Who among us has that dreadful gift?
Behold a pale horse
That internal knowledge of who to trust?
Jump, pony! Jump high!

A black cat stared at the fan
Spinning blades consume his pointless interest
Oh Mr. Binks, cease your tuneless wail
The mice will come when they're no longer wanted

He called me "Butter Bear"
(If you are so puffy, why the welts?)
(If you are so perfect, why hide your teeth?)
They taunt me, Lordy, and I don't know why

Have some Rum 'n' Trout ice cream
Lick it to soothe your soul
The banging continues unrelenting
Yet my smile troops on in a buttery romp

Petra guards the gates of Hell
She understands you when you scream
But you just keep laughing at me
Never been funny, so shut up

Lewis Carroll...
... would be proud. But he clearly doesn't read this site, and noone else seems to have noted this charming tribute. Shame. Tis choppy, yes, but S1 and S5 in particular, spin singing. Wherever your collective surrealist head was at the time... I'd like to visit.
