You said something now that you can't take back
Why would you want to live in a reality like that?
Take the lesson and just run
Breathe in the beauty and just have fun
And when the thoughts return quicker than lightning
Realise this scene of life right here is done

And what if it's not the right sentiment
How about it remains something to agonise and to regret it
How about feeling stupid and moronic
How about having nothing left to stop it
How about we close this suitcase and dispose it
How about we realise this moment is now gone
How about we drop it and just move on
How about we feel an emptiness inside
How about we feel it until we die

Walking through a masterpiece of green, orange and gold
A chill to the air, the sun is out, it's a picture that can't be sold
But take a moment listen to the words breathing in and out
Don't ever take reasoning away from doubt
Philosophical rants about the days
Connecting to the words of music that still plays
Beauty and pain in so many ways
He'll listen to the words he has been told
But reality is these words are old

And what if it's not the right sentiment
And what if in one second it was all it was
How about it remains something to agonise and to regret it
How about it turns out different than expected
How about having nothing left to stop it
Why stop something now that you've got it
How about we close this suitcase and dispose it
The suitcase's thrown into an ocean of the past and everyone knows it
How about we realise this moment is now gone
From our past worries there will be none
How about we drop it and just move on
Good idea should have done it a long time before
How about there's no emptiness inside
How about we don't think about when we die

Why do you begin again a story that's finished
The reason behind the past in which she hoped to diminish
All she said was all she knew
Not one closing statement but a few

Dripping in lessons of life your final word
But like a soft spoken song that's never heard
You meant what you meant, I never learned
In the process once again, you got singed and burned

Courage and dignity is never swerved
She'll see the captivated gets the sentiments she deserved
Truth not hitting harder than what was earned
Remarks so bitter, remarks so true
Especially after all that you've been through

I'll take what you said and take it in
Learn the lesson, a new life will once more begin
A world of chaos unruled and so unplanned
Breaking free from each other and running for our lives to another land

In a world of compassion it is so true
That people understand why it is what you do
And when all there is to be done has been left to do
A new life's doors we're walking through
In a bleak world there is no sun
But have a look and see the best is yet to come

Fly red robin, fly away
You know in your heart it's not a good idea to stay
And from the realities this world has placed upon thee
A stronger yet more wary flight your path will be
And the sun will shine upon your wings
Merging into this world, mixing in with everything
For now the time of freedom has finally begun
Look to see the chapter of your pain has been and is now done
And fly away little birdy
And fly away...
