Under a star lit sky,
Pondering the reasons why.
As my thoughts swim,
And fill my full mind,
I sit back and cry.
For every happy minute,
For every memory,
Till that moment.
You left me forever.
Arms reach out,
But none are yours.
Many say useless words,
But your voice is lost.
Although I cry to you,
You lay cold and still.
I kissed you a final kiss.
I tossed you a rose,
I hope it finds you.
I cry sleepless nights,
Pondering the reasons why,
Under that starlit sky.

Clearing your throat
I liked the second half of the piece. The beginning seemed to kick things off a little slowly, though. There was a lot of set-up. Bartleby has an interesting theory that he shared with me earlier today. I'll let him explain it. I'm not very lucid, and I'd probably butcher it.
