Everything about you has left my bloodstream
Now thereís no way for you to find my heart again
Iím not fitting in this month I guess
So youíll push me to the side till you decide when

Iím that girl that you remember when the other doesnít come around
Iíve come to question what else Iím good for to you
Breaking each of my bones one by one
And leaving me there to lose hope that anyone will find me

Hello again, you
Tell me where the flowers grow
So I can lie in beauty
That Iíve been longing to know

Seems Iím lost in this bird bath that can only be used
Then left when the water is too dirty to drink
Too shallow to swim in, but too deep to doubt
Always there coating the bottom, but looking to the clouds

I guess our nights of car seats and rapid heart beats
Couldnít keep making up for what weíre lacking
So tell me old friend, just who is she
and do you know she is to you what you are to me

Keeps drawing you in after letting you down
A cruel pattern that Iíve begun to know too well
So let me know when you realize that Iím good for you
But for now, stranger, this is farewell
