An unseen force permeates our skies.
It is a daring descendant that
slyly escaped from Pandora’s box, and is
undetectable by both humanity and machine.

The pungent order of sulfur
oozes into the air whenever
this ancient iniquitous power explodes
forth from the highest mountain tops.

Sometimes it manifests itself as a
sinister opposite nature of a
formerly peaceful productive
pillar of society; a Mr. Hyde from Dr. Jeckel.

Peace loving people can
suddenly transform into fervent
lovers of war, death, and destruction after
just one breath of air exhaled by this beast.

This ancient cacodemon
ferociously feeds upon the
volatile fear it implants
inside unsuspecting victims
naively dwelling within its path.

No matter how hard we
attempt to immunize our world
from this heinous evil essence
we are so powerless to actually
stop its wicked conquests;
its destruction of human
conscience and humanity.

It seems so tragic that since
mortal curiosity reopened
Pandora’s box we now must
constantly battle the enemy of
something sinister in the air.
