Wind Dancer

Slowly spreading darkness consumes the howls
Swallowing your misery,
I will proclaim your innocence.

Stars glitter bright
In the back of your mind
For now, youíre someone else.

How can you look at her
Fire in your eyes, ice in your blood
And not laugh?

She canít live forever
Even in a mind dancing like wind
Because so is she.

Will you jump off the cliff
To fall to the ends of the world
Just to be with her?

I bide my time ever so carefully
Like a wolf waiting to spring
Though she carries pieces of you.

Where do you leave it to fate
When she defies even more,
Cheating death itself.

The pattern spins and weaves
Strands trailing in the wind
Destiny in its cry.
