Teetering on the
brink of hell;
how much
can a person
stand yet dwell
within the comfort
and safety of sanity
with the mighty force
of damnation threatening
the confines of humanity?

------
I read your poems
rich and sweet
then lay roses at
your feet.

yes, how much,
I ask myself questions more often than answer.
I sleep between 2 sheets, one of peace of mind the other conflict, more than often I wake the wrong way.

Nice poem of brevity to the max, thoughtprovoking. YOu do this well.

Char, Dar, How Much
And now we have reality tv. It is frustrating, to be a 'thinker'. I am optimist, too, and we will prevail... it is my nature to believe so.
Char, thank you for the tight and thought provoking write.

Dar, makings for an amazing blib from your pen-

"I sleep between 2 sheets, one of peace of mind the other conflict, more than often I wake the wrong way."

- Wish I wrote it!

Best Char, Dar, and whomever-

"I sleep between 2 sheets, one of peace of mind the other conflict, more than often I wake the wrong way." - is by the way in an upcoming poem of mine, which I wrote the first time I commented on this GEM.
