        "Now the
Rock just has one Question for you...Do you like...PIE?" - The Rock, WWF
Superstar

        Now the
other kind of humor is, of course, Slapstick. By Slapstick in Fanfiction I mean;
Mallet hitting, Actions going wrong, evil plans and pranks failing, fighting,
etc. etc.

Misty from the Pokemon series, with her Mallet,  Anime Facial
expressions, all perfect examples of Slapstick. Now this kind of humor is great
for beginning Comedy Writers, because it's the easiest to do and it's hard to
actually screw it up. Let's demonstrate again with Captain Bob, Ralph, and
Nikki.

Now Bob is opening the door for Nikki, while Ralph is right behind
them.

Bob: This way my Dear...*Opens door for Nikki*

Nikki: Why thank you Bob! *Walks in*

Bob: *Shuts door, slipping in as well*

Ralph: *Runs face first into door, Falling on his back screaming
obscenities*

It's very hard to mess up as you can see. If you want some REAL examples of
Slapstick though, Check out Larry, Moe, and Curly PKA The Three Stooges, the
kings of Slapstick. Basically all you do is have the Characters get into some
odd kind of arguement or fight, and have it resolved in violence between the two
characters, but if you have three you can have two Characters fighting, and the
Third can make some  sort of scathing comment or such. Let me
Demonstrate....

Captain Bob:  I am NOT Whipped!

Ralph: OH COME ON!!! YOu're so whipped you make Whipped cream look like
FROSTING!

Captain Bob: Why You LITTLE....

*Bob and Ralph get into fight*

Nikki: Of all The Superheros in all of Fanfictia, I got stuck wit' two
Slapnuts for brains.......I wonder if it's too late to renegotiate my
contract...

Now, Slapstick is good, Interactive is better, But Together? Pure
GENIUS. It's hard to get the Right mix of Slapstick and Interactive, but when
you do, usually it's so good even the WRITER will be laughing.

Now, the best way to go is Have Your Characters Get into an arguement, have
them fight, then have a third character (if you got one) get involved somehow,
like trying to break it up but ends up beating them both up or something to that
extent. Do I smell another Demonstration?

Captain Bob: Look here Little Buddy, I am the Hero, YOU are the sidekick! I
am the one who saves people!!

Ralph: *Gets in Bob's face* You couldn't save A Cat in a tree without my
help!!

Nikki: Guys?

Bob: *gasps* YOU..YOU....JERK!!! Take that back!!

Ralph: *shoves Bob* Make me You Heroic HACK!

Nikki: Boys?

Bob: *Shoves Ralph Back* Simpleton!!

Ralph: YOUR MAMA WEARS A MOO MOO FOR A BRA!!! *Ralph Tackles Bob
Down*

Nikki: Children?

*they keep Fighting*

Nikki: BREAK IT UP!!!

*Nikki Breaks them up, but Bob and Ralph Raise their opposite fists*

Nikki: Can't we all just...

* They BOth Punch Nikki on either side of the head*

NIkki:....Get....along...

*they got back to fighting as Nikki collapses*

Yes, The Best kind of Interactive Humor Is arguements, as I have no doubt
you have noticed. Arguements are great because you can make up insults, which
are mostly funny, and if you've ever noticed, MOST Comedy Fanfics and Stories
are made up of MOSTLY Arguements! I have YET to see a Comedy fic WITHOUT a few
good arguements in it!! That's Probably because Arguements are the easiest
setting to make and construct, which is why Comedy fics are sometimes so easy to
do. I suggest, for a Good Comedy read, Look around the Web for a Website called
"Crossroads Downunder", Go to The Felixmann section and look for a Fic titled
'Pokemon Masterpiece.' F'n Hilarious!!

Well so We close my SECOND Column, and I'd like to end this one with my all
time Favorite quotes, right from Sister Act 2.

"If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you better wake
up and Pay attention!"
