Dark fingers gather
on the rain-fractured
surface of the lake,
the fountains mist
feathers down without
a trace of wake.
Awestruck, I stop
to inhale this
beautiful scene,
it renews the painter
standing here, unseen.

I read your poems
rich and sweet
then lay roses at
your feet.

Thanks John
Yes, nature is awesome; and sometimes the least bit of it is the most compelling.
