It's amazing quite how little,
how little we observe,
perception is deception and it really hits a nerve.
Can you really go unnoticed
when your soul is so reserved?
and resigned to being nothing,
it's a learning curve.
How little we do notice.
How little we behold.
Self obsessions a way of life now,
and people are so cold.
Nothings taken in now,
things repeatedly told,
it's true ignorance is bliss
but my soul is being sold.
You scrutinize and scandalise
but never notice truth.
You're hardly fucking Sherlock,
hardly super sleuth.
I'm fake in view in watching,
pass blind inspection with a beam,
but my cheeks are flushed from holding in
the tears that can't be seen.
My eyes are dead theyre lying,
they weave sweet cold deceit,
you detect a hint of sadness
but you dont suspect defeat.
You note the cuts and grazes,
but the lies you do believe,
it really is that easy
for loved ones to deceieve.
I try to protect your feelings,
prevent worry about me,
but it is so very heart breaking
how little the people closest to you see.

I am a misunderstood genius.

the poem is nice ,you have tried hard to use paradox but some of it is quite unreal.try hard to focus on the subject avoid wide twistings
