~The buss ride book three~ by Syd s.

“Travis I’m sorry. It should have been me. I should be the one in some coma. They should be thinking of letting me go and not you. I’m sorry Travis. Forgive me.”
Leny was in tears and held onto Travis’s body.
“Uhh…sir?”
Leny looked up at Travis’s blurred face. But it wasn’t Travis’s face anymore. It was just some mans face. It wasn’t Travis. Leny let go of the man and got back in his car and drove home. Sam was waiting for him on his front porch. She smiled as he drove up and parked his car.
“Hey there Leny. How’s Travis doing?”
Sam said. Leny didn’t answer her or get out of his car. He sat there holding his keys and staring at the steering wheel.
“Leny? Is everything alright?”
Sam walked over to Leny’s door and looked inside the window.
“Hey Leny. What happened?”
Leny breathed hard and whipped his eyes with his hand.
“I saw Travis again. But it wasn’t really Travis. It wasn’t Travis.”
“Leny you’re not making any sense. Common, lets go inside and you can relax and tell me what happened.”
Leny got out of the car and walked into the house. He told Sam about what the doctor had told him. About how he thought he had almost hit Travis with his car in the garage at the hospital. And how it wasn’t really Travis who he almost hit.
“They can’t do that to Travis! He’s their son! How could they just up and give up on him?! They shouldn’t be allowed to do that Leny. We can’t let them do that to poor Travis.”
Sam said when Leny had finished. Sam started to make dinner for Leny. She had been doing that a lot lately. Coming over to cook for Leny and his father. Cleaning house whenever it needed it. Even did/helped Leny with his homework when he was having one of his ruff days. Leny was lucky and he knew it.
“Sam thanks for being here for me. I really do appreciate it.”
Leny hugged Sam tightly and a few tears fell down his cheeks. Sam rubbed his back and laid her head on his shoulder.
“Don’t worry Leny. Travis will pull through. He’ll be OK.”
Leny looked at Sam and leaned down and kissed her lips.

The end of book three.
