“And prom sucked ass big time. The music was crap and everyone just stood there talking and spiking everybody’s punch every five seconds. After prom I went to Sam’s house. She says hey and you still owe her that buck fifty. She’s doing all right. She’s moving next fall, to Santa Manteca and she’s going to live with her mom again. Her dads a wreck with her leaving next fall. He says he doesn’t know what he’s going to do with her gone with her crazy mother. He’s a blast though. He took us to the Sam’s Hill movie premier last week. It was great. Dan Hill is a major hoty.”

“Leny, visiting hours were over twenty minuets ago. I’m sorry but you’ll have to come back tomorrow.”
Lent looked at the doctor sadly and back at Travis’s unmoved body.
“I’ll see you tomorrow Travis. Same time same place ok?”
Travis didn’t respond. Leny smiled.
“I love you too Travis. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Leny waved shortly and left the room. The doctor followed Leny and stopped him at the elevator.
“Leny, I need to talk to you about Travis.”
“OK doctor. What’s up?”
“I’ve been speaking with Travis’s parents and they feel that it might be time to, well, let Travis go.”
Leny was horrified.
“W-What? You can’t do that. I wont let you kill Travis.”
“Leny, nothing is definite yet. Travis’s parents are still thinking it over. I just thought you should know. I see how close you are with Travis. But it has been nearly a month sins the accident. You need to let him go sometime.”
Leny scowled at the doctor. The elevator doors opened and Leny stepped inside. He held the doors open and scowled at the doctor.
“I’ll never let him go. You touch him at all and I will slap a lawsuit on this hospital faster than you know. I’ll be back tomorrow morning as always. Travis better be here when I get here.”
He let the doors close and take him down to the garage. Leny was in tears the whole elevator ride but pulled it together when he reached his car. As he was pulling out he almost hit someone with his front end and he screeched his brakes to a stop. Leny got out and looked at the person he almost hit. It was Travis.
Leny smiled and ran to Travis and hugged him tightly.
