You were so little when I held you
Tiny fingers, tiny toes, tiny nose

It was too short our time together

I know that your with Jesus now
and someday mommy will be with you
and together forever we will be
I promise you Angel, you'll see

You were so little when I held you
Tiny fingers, tiny toes, tiny nose

It was too short our time together

How you got here was not your fault
not all fathers are good
but from his sin God made something
beautiful, a baby girl named Angel
and all happened as it should

You were so little when I held you
Tiny fingers, tiny toes, tiny nose

This is gorgeous and poignant. I esp. love the repetition of 'tiny fingers' etc. The premature death of a little one is a sensitive subject and your balance is inch perfect. By the way, 3rd verse, 1st line - 'your' in this context should be 'you're' as in 'you are'.
Well done
Take care

Thanks everybody for liking my poem so much! My little girls full name is Angelina but when I think of her I call her my Angel and thats why I put it this way in my poem. Jesus saves us from sadness. I'm not trying to be a preacher and make you angery macbeth. I know some people get upset when Jesus is too much in my comments. I like to talk about what I feel in my heart and share with everybody. Jesus loves everybody all the time is all I'm saying. That doesn't hurt anybody. Not pushing anything on nobody. Sorry.

Agape,

No! You don't make me angry. I just know what makes my pains feel any better (if possible), so please don't take anything I said the wrong way. I respect your beliefs because they are your own and you are your own person, and therefore unique. I think Angelina is a beautiful name. Guess what my son is naming his daughter? Alejandria it is my baptismal name which is not legal, but only through the eyes of a Catholic church because I was the only one in my family not named after a saint which is a custom in Hispanic culture (I wonder why they didn't).

Anyway, I just wanted make sure you didn't get me wrong.
