As the feeble rays of dawn
shone forth their gilded light;
dew kissed, caressed, awakened earthly slumbers past the night.

The frosted infant breeze gushing, promising
rebirth;
felled wounded slighted blossoms onto the chilly morning earth.

Nocturnal shadows scatter,
thwarted in retreat;
their inky tresses vanishing where light and darkness meet.

The praising arms of trees,
reach in homage to the sun;
bathing in the brilliance of a day that\'s just begun.
