Broken Promises

You said youd never leave me
Yet Im sat here alone
You promised not to make me cry
The tears in my eyes have grown

I understand the reasoning
Of why you had to go
But you left so many broken promises
Left me feeling so low

Im lying here and wondering
Why I ever believed what you said
I guess I thought you loved me
It must have all been in my head

So what exactly are you doing now
Whilst Im lying here in bed
Are you somewhere thinking of me
Or have you found someone else instead

bringing it together
I don't think you've got the rhythm quite right in this poem; it doesn't quite flow as smoothly as it could in the first three verses. The last verse flows perfectly, though.
The actual content is fantastic though; you've written a very moving piece of poetry, and again the last verse just brings it all together well.
