Hey Robin,
Cool haiku. I liked the rhyme between lines 1 and 3. It brims with color, life and promise.

dream big
I'll have to wait for your International Tour Robin. When you come to the land Downunder we'll have a bush booksigning and barbecued barramundi (a tasty freshwater fish).

It is getting colder here now, so Blue Tongue is hiding in his hollow. Little Flower Child is supposed to go along with the latest card in the Tarot - the Hierophant.

Yes. Dream big Robin. By then you'll probably be able to afford my airfare over for all four parties! Hah! Now I'm dreaming big.

cheers

Dam fishing
Did I hear someone say party? I was on the lit.org home page and thought I heard someone mention a party. My mouse slid immediately with a mind of its own, like a pointer on a ouija board, to this poem here, which I like.

Fishing is always good just downstream from a dam. After the party, we could do some fishing while you explain that B7L poem to me.

party hearty
Hey Robin,

I can imagine a lot of twangy nasal accents going on all at once... and that would just be me.

No. I'm not a native meaning not a descendant of the first peoples, but yes native in that I was born here and feel very close to the land.

I think Dareva has solved Bobby's poem. She left a comment about some money being invested in some Sicilian wine or something. I'm still not sure?

Now I wonder if gomarsoap will see party again and come looking?

cheers

Smithy

Robin is taking me to a shooting range so I can play with guns...you know us Yankees don't do that, so that's part of the party besides the fishing.

Party Hearty, I hear it's in the high 80's down there, here in Chicago it's in the 50's.

Ready, aim...fire!
Writing can take alot of time, especially for those best-sellers. You certainly have the fire for it. Don't get disappointed when it can get to be very hard work, as it sometimes does.

I'm glad I'm not anywhere near where you live - the idea of Macbeth with a gun in her hand makes me a little nervous!

Speaking of parties, I know some people who live out in the country on 10 acres of land which has a woods. Once in awhile they have an outdoor party where everyone brings their guns, some refreshments, and small appliances like t.v.'s, radios, blenders, or what have you. They party down and then line up the appliances and proceed with target practice. There's tons of laughter and a good time is had by all. It takes them a few days to clean up and dispose of the mess.

Gomar, take cover...
I promise not to create a monster..ex. sister, went helped her get self protection peice...big mistake, not enough respect for, scary...Sis can't pull the trigger unless cocked, so story goes Daddy bought it off her hands, pd that stingy whench x2 what she gave. then he got her a 4-10 shotgun, at least she can't put it in her purse....macbeth, is afraid of gun's, fear understood...I want Laura to experience the good in AL. do some things she's never done...I'm proficient with handarms as well as rifles...
I have a M1 Grand rifle, 1947, best hunting gun around. I use iron sites, dead on at 100yds, rarely miss, scope for me is a wrestle...

No matter what one does and does well takes much work...friend of mine related to me recently,
Robin, change your beginning and the outcome will prove it...

God, and me, and I'll do just fine...

"Nothing of worth or weight can be achieved with half a mind, with a faint heart, and with a lame endeavor." -Isaac Borrow

i find that very meaningful.

Skul...

those are wise words you quoted, and I'm putting
in my brain bank, tying to build my funds, if you know what I mean...

Robinbird
i believe i know what you mean. it isn't easy to build the 'brain bank'. but in the end you reap a fine reward?

skul...

Yohoo...Robin

Are you awake?

( Posted by: macbeth [Member] On: May 17, 2005 )

Gomar

Fear me not with a gun, I am not afraid of guns. I've played with my Dad's guns before and have had one pulled at my face, but that is totally a different thing.
Its just that I don't understand the mentality or cultural aspect of it.
Robin was goiing to teach me about it, because I am a curious creature (although I don't want to be killing small furry animals, maybe big furry things).

I am going to be writing my Alabama part II. Besides, I think explosives are much more fun.

Robin

Now that this thread has turned into a Monty Python Circus, I wanted to compliment you on your poem again because explosives can cause beautiful rainbows dear.

talk to you soon
