In a world full of zombies...
Where people learn so they don't have to care
Where athletes sit in the closet afraid of the game
Where the greatest villains are mistaken for great souls
Vain hope is renewed only to harvest sorrow.

In a world full of zombies...
I see you on the hill, a tree
with ripped out roots
I cut myself; you pretend to sympathize
because to you: words are blackmail

In a world full of zombies...
When you moan in bed, it's never enough to satisfy.
Wherever you love, you conquer:
You may be strong, but you doubt it:
Because you always were good at choosing power over
pride.

So in this world of zombies,
When you seek an excuse to rage against a machine -
Make sure you're really trapped first.

And if you find that you truly are free
And rage on.
And rage on
I advise you to stay indoors
or wear sunscreen
as your skin will be sure to

fall

off.
