It's the way you put your
arms around me when we dance,
that puts me in a simple loving trance.

It's the way you look
at me with that deep passionate stare,
that tells that you truly care.

It's the way you softly brush
your lips against mine with tenderness
that sends me into heavenly bliss.

Yet, it's the way you ignore
my beg for affection,
that sets my heart in a stage of rejection.

It's the way you don't understand
that your lies and promises are fake,
is pain iced over my heart like icing on a cake.

I really liked this piece. Minor pick is last line. I would try to find another word for the first use of ice. Smeared, maybe?
