I recently read an article re: manifestos of various political parties. The one which reduced me to a giggling heap was the BNP's. Apart from their intention to bring back National Service and require all ex-servicemen to possess assault rifles, their next most outrageous idea was the following proposal for ethnic cleansing.

Everything in quotes " " is on the following website.

"1. We would repeal the Race Relations Acts and all other restrictions on free speech in Britain."

Translation - It will no longer be against the law to physically and verbally abuse anybody from an ethnic minority.

"6. We would abolish all laws against racial discrimination in employment and the
government bodies associated with enforcing them."

Translation It will be okay for employers to turn away anybody from an ethnic minority and they will have no right to complain about blatant racism.

"8. A Clause 28-style proscription against the promotion of racial integration in
schools and the media would be introduced."

Translation apartheid ( or separate development ) will begin along the lines of
Rhodesian white supremacy policies from the 60s and 70s. Our white children will be discouraged from mixing with their equals among the ethnic minorities. This will be promoted by the use of racist propaganda being published and broadcast.

"10. A massively-funded and permanent programme, using and doubling Britain's current foreign aid budget, will aim to reduce, by voluntary resettlement to their lands of ethnic origin, the proportion of ethnic minorities living in Britain."

Translation A programme of ethnic cleansing will begin. The cynical repealing of any laws and closing down of organizations likely to ensure equality or freedom of speech for those from ethnic minorities will encourage them to leave the UK. By depopulating Britain of people likely to vote against the BNP, the Nazis will be more likely to win another General Election.

There you have it, friends and neighbours, the British Nitwit Party's plans for our future happiness - sheeesh!

Take care

In five hundred years time, most of us will be forgotten dust. But Hitler will still be remembered, God loves irony.

Sorry Viper, I'm being a bit slow at the moment, whose tongue in which cheek?

Thanks for taking time to read and comment anyway.

I meant this nitwit party. Were they serious? I mean, given their proposals and the fact that they were called nitwits?

Sorry mate, their official title is British Nationalist Party. They do exist, I'm sorry to say. The quotes are taken from a genuine manifesto for this year's General Election published by them. Please accept my apologies if I caused confusion. The accuracy of my references can be checked on the website I finally managed to show, I realise how ridiculous they sound, so I thought it best to give a way of checking. The point of my material about their policies was to take the rise out of their absurdity.

Hope that helps, take care

Nitwit Party

Wow, I thought the U.S. was screwed-up, but is this "manifesto" really going through? I am Hispanic, I guess I'll never go to England.

Even as I write, I'm keeping an eye on the Election results. The bnp had to publish some kinda manifesto so they did, safe in the knowledge that with only 118 candidates standing they stood no chance of winning the necessary 300 plus seats to take government. In other words - they knew they could say they were going to do whatever, but not have to keep any promises. I'd be astonished and upset if they won even one seat in parliament.

Take care
