Those creatures tower massively over me. I swear, these things are huge. Before I took my post on the high grounds, this one in particular almost crushed me under those rubber coatings on its feet once. As I spy quietly down on the thing, it raises a soft white stick to its lips and holds it there. The other hand brought a blue device to the end of the stick. My eyes grew large as fire sprang from the device in the monster's hand. I had heard rumors that the great ones could create fire, but seeing it myself was fascinating to me. As the stick's end heated to red embers the creature sucked the other end mightily. It removed the stick long enough to belch forward a great pillar of gray smoke. The smoke rose to my watching post and hazed my vision. My eyes began to itch and burn. I tried not to breathe, but no more oxygen came. More and more smoke came as the thing played with long string of yellow falling from its head and pitching massive amounts of smoke in my direction. My vision tunneled. I can't breathe. Someone hellpp meeee...

The thin pretty blonde lifted the cigarette to her pouty lips again. Just as she went to exhale the luxurious nicotine delight in her lungs, something dropped into her lap. She screamed when she saw the small dead insect touching her new sundress.

Pretty decent stuff, you could really expand and make alot more out of this. I agree with left me with a taste of wanting more.
