Mystical birds rising up from ashes
Stronger than the brightest hot flashes
Tears of healing washed down feathered faces
Unexpected beauty in unexpected places

Unmistakable plumages of sunset gold
Beautiful eyes that stare ice-cold
Wingspans bigger than suns at birth
Deep-sea purple in ash filled hearths

Flying over rainbows like angels in the wind
Tying up knots quicker than they unravel
Blinding the Heavens more than the mind
Walking on clouds as a fun way to travel

Creating the image of untold destiny
Surviving the past in the west if any
Beholding the truth one can withhold
This is a myth that will go untold
