Skin sliding against skin
in a sexual dance.
Two bodies buried in each other,
two minds lost in ecstasy,
two souls rising on a fountain of fire!
Pleasure is the munificence
of the heavens.
Solomon's pith revealed.
Nimbus that encircles the head
of the merciful clouds-
are jubilant angels that dance.
Swarthy skies-
adorn the backdrop of this
tryst as tender lips sofly
Conquer her meek body,tears
my wartorn eyes that have
spoken volumes of homilies,
years of anguished repression.

I don't know much (nothing, really) about poetry, but this piece has lovely language and seems to evoke a bitter/sweet melancholy.

I do think I'd lose the exclamation point if I were you, which I clearly am not.

Lovely reading here, and thanks for your comment on "Concrete Court".
