Wrinkled devotion more precious than gold
Trace frail hands along their refine
As her eighty four years have told

Of the hidden strength behind this resign
Broken by a tearful farewell.
Remembrance sheds a lonely tear

As she stands in her closet to remember his smell.

Aureoverinicus, Welcome to Lit..
This is the first submission I have read of yours and I shivered. This love unfolded before my eyes, nice visuals. Very tightly written and personally I found nothing to change in this.

John, you are someone to watch..thank you for this poem.

Never stop writing,
