Hello my name is Lisa Poort. I have to comments I would like to talk about. The first one is love and in general, men and the jealousy of a woman, me. Sometimes I feel so broken hearted. My man is wonderful. He's very genuine and real but maybe it's really me who's the bad guy. I want him for myself you see. Can someone tell me is it bad for a woman to want her man all to herself, not to have to hear about how perfect his ex's were and see him smile to every female he passes by? I've never felt this way to anyone. In one instance, I absolutely adore and worship him. But in another, I am mad at him and want to inflict pain on him like I feel in my own soul. I look at him and see him flirting with everyone. Why are all the wonderful guys such flirts and charmers? It's such a hard thing for me right now because I care about him so much and we've been through everything. We lost our car, got in an accident, he stayed with me for 5 days and 6 nights while I was having surgery in the hospital. He's done door to door selling with me and caters me alot. I feel too good and too not enough for him all at the same time. Then I get jeoulous of any girl who flirts back with him. One included one of my really great friends. Come to find out that friend actually liked me. Sometimes life is so confusing and what is a girl to do when she's faced with such struggles.

The other is something you can help me with, that is our country! I do want to change the way our world works. I think our world could use a fresh start. With the way our economy is going and our jobs and the gas. Also we really need to stop sending our own people to war like places such as Iraq. My boyfriend who's been there told me they don't even want us over there. We need to protect our own country and build ourselves stronger. We need to help us before we can help others. Isn't that right? Anyone agree? I think we should do something because we are the majority of the people in the country. The government is but a small part of us. If we banned together we could technically do something to stop this. What do you think? Anyone have any ideas? I think we should stand up and be heard. Please respond and tell your friends, it's time American's stood up for themselves.

As far as the second issue goes (I try not to give advice on guy stuff as I've got my own issues from a past relationship 2 deal with) I agree that this country drastically needs to reform its choices on everything from civil liberties to ecologically sound fuel measures. There's this site on the web I'm an activist member of called the Union of Concerned Scientists
www.ucsusa.org that researches things like wind turbine power to provide energy to homes and ethanol production, among a myriad of other stuff. I posted their web address in this message...if it helps. I agree that GWB and his Halliburton buddies don't seem to grasp the big picture on many a subject. Anyway, there's many a citizen across this nation that shares your opinions of what's going on. Good luck and keep writing!
