To the tune of Beach Boys “Barbara Ann”

Ah baa baa baa baa baa baa ram
Baa baa baa baa baa baa ram

Baa Baa ram
thought you was lamb
Baa Baa ram
I thought you was a ewe
But you showed me you’re a ram
Baa Baa ram

I snuck in thru the fence
My need for wool intense
Then you butt me with your horn
Until I couldn’t make no sense
Baa Baa ram
Baa Baa ram
You got me locked between your horns
And you butt me like a ram Baa Baa ram

Baa baa baa baa baa ram
Baa baa baa baa baa

Baa Baa ram
Lambskin so cham
Baa Baa ram
I thought you was a ewe
But you showed me you’re the ram
Baa Baa ram

Baa baa baa baa baa ram
Baa baa baa baa baa

Baa Baa ram
Bo Peep’s right hand
Baa Baa ram
You filled my bag so full
Near’ dyed within the wool
Baa Baa ram

Mary Mary quite contrary
Have you any wool?
Just a little here sir
‘bout a Baa Baa ram mouthful
Baa Baa ram Baa Baa ram
Your ruttin’ can’t be bleat
So count me ‘til I sleep
baa baa ram

Baa baa baa baa baa ram
Baa baa baa baa baa ram

Baa Baa ram
Your meat’s not canned
Baa Baa ram
Mutton could be better
And you’d make a lovely sweater
Baa Baa ram

Soos- I have to come back! I have been trying to get my musician friend to do "Black Betty"
(oh-oh Black- betty, Bam-a-ram, ..." and have that in my head when I read this which sends me all off the map. You know I love ya... I'll be back... 'oh, oh black betty...'

Cheap take-off on Alabama
This is either about doing it with sheep or insulting southern folks on this site.

I need to work on my timing. I see that I am the bull in the china shop. I'd rather be the hippo in the tutu on ice skates and be an ice-breaker, though! Call me an idiot for bringing up that which I did not witness.

To quote the great Homer: "D'oh!"
(had you going to The Iliad, didn't I? Didn't I?)

O reet! Let's bleat!
Soos, you cool cat. This is too far out. And I always loved that song, Barbara Ann. Unfortunately, I can remember when it first came out. Which leads me to the question, were the Beach Boys the author and original performers of that song? I'm ashamed I don't know for sure, because I am a big fan of doo-wop. Some of my favorite groups are called such names as: The Cadillacs, The El Dorados, The Nutmegs, The Five Dollars, The Manhattans.

Thanks for doing what you do. "Baa Baa Ram" has a little bit of everything.

mcbeth, chill
I have tried to stay nuetral, but you repeatedly try to insite. I am sorry you are needy and unhappy. I am too. Can you please stop personalizing everything so we all lose enjoyment.
Come on mcbeth, chill a bit so all can garner knowledge-

ps sorry to use your venue, soos, but I'm tired of such disrespect-

In anger I used profanity in a comment on a mac beth comment. I apologize. I do not need to resort to profanity. Profundity is good, though.
