Angry Jilted Lover

He left me
He left me
He left me for his wife
He left me here with nothing
'cept a rusty butcher knife

I left him
I left him
I left him for his wife
To find him left with nothing
'cept a thirsty butcher knife

I may be stupid but at least I'm not handsome.

Nice to see more of your poetry, I must resad your other posts when I have a minute...Midnight Yoreis still a favorite.

In case you missed my reply to your comment:

just enter the word you wish to rhyme...I haven't used this before but found it when looking for an answer to your query!

Enema in Mianma
Thanks Ivor. After much deliberation I've decided to go with the equally juicy word 'clyster'. You see I've been watching far too many Brit comedies of late, 'Young Ones' and 'The New Statesmen' and I'm afraid their love of bodily function jokes is started to influence me.

Thanks again for the site.

Knife's tale
I followed this thru Ivor's comment to you, but so glad I stopped by. So little said and such a story told. Very nice-

Thnkf for the knife comment
Thanks Emaks. I woke up one morning with a weird urge to try and write the same thing conveying different meanings.
Aaaah, who am I kidding? I wanted to write about a butchers knife! The envelope opener and the 'pearing kinife' just didn't have the same ring.

Thanks again.

Emlyn's Knife
I like the (blood)thirsty butcher knife, this poem is very much like the ones that appear on front page of horror comics. Rusty butcher knife is frightening too, well... fooling around with a psycho's spouse is!
