I can't say that I understand why no one has responded to this particular Haiku. I for one enjoyed it.. The middle line is very strong and conjured up quite an image or two for me. But all in all I feel a bit of a disconnect between the title and the work.. but I am Mr. Specific when I write.. perhaps I could use a little vaguary in my work.

Thank you for the comment. In this instance the title is a comparison between me and the fabled Trojan Horse. Hopefully, you'll be able to see the comparison. If not I'll explain a little farther in a later post. Thanks again!

beautiful symbolism
The way this strikes me is that it's saying how, in our society, reason is encouraged, but very few people actually use it. When someone finally does break free from the propaganda-induced shackles of so-called "pop culture," one finally realizes how empty life is without using one's own brain. Society inhibits curiosity, but without curiosity, our brains are nothing but rusty tools, and this seems to symbolize the beginning of the relubrication process, if you usually does start with a feeling of emptiness. I think this is a masterful job, Apathy.

Re: symbolism
I'm glad that you got so much out of this piece. I'm a big believer that it is not so much what goes into the work as what others get out of it that matters. The whole sum is greater han the parts thing. Thanks for the comment.
