It all began
when someone
left the window open

A whsiper of freedom,
a hint of light
and off they went

Into the air they flew,
the sugerplum fantasies
and pure white dreams

Weaving, Bobing, Soaring
Over chimney tops
and under cobbled bridges

Fluttering past
Breezing by cheeks
Brushing just so

And at the end of the night,
reluctantly they popped
back into our heads

Purr like a kitten; Scratch like a bitch

fun journey
Very nice snuffystuff. I enjoyed the magical ride.
If anything I would have liked it to go on a longer ride. Stanza 3 and 4 were my favourite. The first stanza reminded me of the beginning to George Orwell's "Animal Farm". That was a good way to begin as it gave me the impression something was about to happen. Good one.
