I can't pretend anymore

Each day that I see you I mask the way I feel

Hoping it will go away

But when I'm alone the mask is removed

My feelings are exposed

I wish I had the nerves to tell you my deepest emotions

I wish you knew how I felt

But each time you’re near my brain turns to mush

Some day I'll tell you all of my secrets

But by then it may be too late

So I will stop pretending

I'll wear my heart on my sleeve

And tell you that I love you
