Voices in the wind
Still my awful thoughts
Screaming whispers
Until Iím all but bought

Show that smile
While I bleed out
From the inside

Itís been a long while
Iíll be the first to admit
That I lied

With shards of glass
Sticking in my mind
Pluck them free
With my apprehension

Shaking on the floor
You donít dare look behind
Iím afraid too
Of what you might find

Bright lights on dark thoughts
Silent judge
In a quiet courtroom

Forget what you had sought
The verdict is
Circles arenít forever

You can bite down your lip
You can blame it on the stars
You can let it all slip
And disappear out the back door

Ask the white coats
Theyíll tell you the story
Confidential of the sorts
But thatís all boring

Eyes rolling emptily
In my silly head
Shadows collapsing
White sheets staining red

I wonít fight it
Hearing the waves
A toothless grin
No longer lifeís slave
