The Day the Earth Broke (v2)

"Run! Run! Run for your lives!
The ground is tearing apart.
Run! RUN! Head for the sun.
The end of the world made a start!"

"Help! Help! Help me my Lord!
Protect me from nature's brute force.
Help! HELP! I prayed and I knelt.
Why have you forsaken my cause?"

"Run! Run! Run to the hills!
The ocean is flooding the land.
Run! RUN! A waterwall has come!
Hurry up, climb as high as you can!"

"Help! Help! Help me great One!
Shield me from nature's wild fury.
Help! HELP! Halt this vision of hell.
In humanity's name show your mercy."

"Run! Run! Run to the fallen!
Those people are battered and broken.
Run! RUN! Buried under a tonne.
Quickly before their last words are spoken."

"Praise! Praise! Praise to the World!
For sending their people to aid us.
Praise! PRAISE! Our hopes they did raise.
As we grieve for the many new angels."

------
Like the grasses showing tender faces to each other, thus should we do, for this was the wish of the Grandfathers of the World.
