The rain is falling, my tears are too...
For the love we have, for all that's You.

So You are different, as all are we...
Rain these tears, for all that's thee.

I look into the sky, heaven I see...
Beholden and waiting for You and me.

I can't place a drop on Your thirsty tongue...
Many of us know, we're all as One.

I care, I care...
I pray, I pray...
For the love of God, may we find a way,
To touch, to hold, to begin from old...
The teaching our Saviour, sacrificed to be told.

Forgive us, good and bad...
Sweet Saint, Dear TERRI, we soon will have.

Your life is our life...
Your heart is our heart...
Make us one with "Your" peaceful depart.

Why? As I cry, as a peice of me dies...
Can't simplicity be known in Your unheard replies?

TERRI speaks...

Listen to Me, I'm Terri can't you see!
Leave Me alone, my family and Me.

I'm awake, I'm alive...
More than just survive...

Let Me hold my Mama and Daddy, too...
Let Me speak our language that's foreign to you.

MICHEAL, MICHEAL, don't do this to Me...
What mirror are you looking in when ugly you see?

Mama, Daddy, Sissy and Dear Brother, too...
I see the Angels , may they watch after you.
I'll be one of them, they're comming soon...
Remember Me, My love's with the days, nights and noons.

Don't worry about Me, My troubles bring change...
Even with ashes my memories remain.
A new world is dawning, Jesus told Me so...
Cry, then smile, then let Me go.

It's OK, my beloved...
There's heaven above.

All I know is difference...
And difference is LOVE.

very nice Rb
Very heartfelt Robinbird. You did a great job empathizing with Terri and giving her a voice. Only that second stanza was a little awkward. Everything else flowed nicely. "..as all are we" and "...for all that's thee" are weaker than the rest. The first parts of those sentences are good though and neccessary for the ending too, just that rhyming couplet could be clearer.

that about you, This I wrote approx. 6hrs prior to her death...I pray, and know in my heart her life is graet, now...It's good to have you in my life...Robin

Hi, Robin. This piece is touching.Yet, there are those so cold of heart that do not comprehend what real love is, being so self-centered and elitist they cannot give up themselves one minute for Christ to speak to their hearts. We are criticized all the day long as zealots and fools for our beliefs.Someday the truth will be made known.I am for and stand with the culture of life, not this culture of death so many embrace. I will not be silent about it nor will I let the ignorant freely accuse me of ignorance in life and death matters or my Christian beliefs.

I hope at least some of what you said here sticks in someone's craw.

Difference&CHARLIE...
Yes Sir,I too, can not be silent, my faith in Jesus, has sustained my hardest of times and it isn't imagines or just a hope, it is a know with every fiber of my being, by no means am I perfect, but I'm OK. LOVE, is the difference, I even love unconditionally, yet, Sir, I have to watch my back, a learned behavior of self preservasion. I have freely shared
myself and my ups and downs, not ashamed
of either, just life. I try not to impress anyone, I'm just ME, just ROBIN.
I know what I know of things such as Miss Terri experienced, only different humans, and Thank You, JESUS and or LORD, I can rest at night, for how I treated patients like her as well as yourself, I would have quit my job had
I been ask to do to her what was done,
I do have some know, I lived it,cared
for many, at the least she should have been given water...
I praise your courage and all that it stood for... ...
