Zeus began his journey
When you walked up to my door
You rang the bell
While the Messenger went away

Selene and Cronus
Met up face to face
As we smiled and laughed
With candles and stars alight

You took me in your arms
To dance the night away
When Seven Sisters retired
To dance on morrow's night

You took me to my hearth
When the Archer went to bed
I took you to my heart
And invited you inside

From Cronus' setting
Until Ares appeared
The universe was solely
Made up of you and I

Apollo walked beside Aphrodite
When you woke up beside me
Breakfast forgotten
The universe was ours once more

For my eternal muse... We are of one heart... Forever

heavenly timing
Maimai, I just love the timing of the tryst with the stars coming and going in the heavens. I especially liked the time frame when the pair seemed so engrossed in each other the heavens disappeared even. The second stanza was perfect, matching the constellations with the actions of the couple. Well done. I feel a Haiku coming on. Well an already written one that this reminds me of, I will submit it. warm regards huni.
