Tints and Shades of numerous colors:

Blues and Greens, Reds and Blacks.
Merging, fading into each other,
Confusion becoming evident.
Nothing is as clear, nothing as perfect.
The Future isnít for certain without insurance
And this picture it has,
Yes this picture has taught me a valuable,
Taught me a harsh lesson of Life.
What to do and where to go?
Color the trail with our sorrow,
Paint it the color of our souls
And sing for a Life with a purpose,
And donít be surprised when it doesnít happen,
Donít be surprise when itís your time.
And donít be angry because you never
Showed, those who Loved you, your true colors.
Tints and Shades of Greens and Blacks
Of days so long and spent,
Show us the truth behind you.
The truth you refuse to illustrate.
But itís okay youíll speak someday.
With each word you whisper,
Each phrase you articulate,
Your tongue like a whip
Stinging me, slashing me, causing me to bleed.
Red drips down my skin.
Stuck under your finger tips,
Dead and Light Peach,
Scratches down my back.
With these Tints and Shades
Of our last days
Telling a story for our families,
Our children with generations yet to come
Mixing the colors we have brought.
Blues and Reds of the present.
Unable to perceive or speak
Of the pain we try to seek.
The pain we call for to feel again,
With the Blackness consuming us
Making us see what weíve done.
The Good, the Bad itís all the same.
Letís document our Lieís and our Lifeís story.
How we, used to be, fixed to one another.
By painting this picture
Blue and Green, Red and Black
Not leaving out the details of our Deathís,
Our Fightís, of our Love for each other on that night,
But now itís gone,
Even our devotion to our relationship.
The page that was written,
The page that was once painted
Has come clean.
Our Life, it departed with our Love.
Colors disappearing, telling us what we require.
That now we must move on,
That you need to cease the silence,
That everyone, sometimes, needs to sleep.
Tints and Shades of the happy days
Washing away from me into an infinite sea.
